These Grecian olives are table olive variety grown mainly in the area of north Peloponesse, are slightly almond-shaped and purple in color. They are marinated in oil and salt for exceptional flavor.These are only picked from the tree when really mature and then treated with salt which is eventually washed off and the olives preserved in oil. The black wrinkly Aeghion olives are meaty with an intense aftertaste and a very popular choice in our deli.
Packed in a light coating of oil; please refrigerate.
